So, if you clicked the title of this blog, you know what it's about, right? Wrong! You just think you do. This blog is about a very patriotic man, not a KISS member (no pun intended).
Once upon time, I was dealing with a very rebellious teenager who thought KISS walked on water, especially Gene Simmons. It got to the point where we even tried Tough Love to straighten him out. Needless to say, I was NOT a KISS fan, nor a fan of the smart-mouthed teen brat. After all, he was just a girlfriend's child, and after fruitless months of verbal abuse, I managed one of the fifty ways to leave your lover.
My first clue that Gene Simmons was more that just a freak in another freaking band was when I saw him play Tom Selleck's evil nemesis in the feature film Runaway. Although the movie received poor ratings, Simmons' performance was a four star for me and that is saying a lot considering the past experience with the evil teen.
Mr. Simmons has since played other notable roles and has a hit TV sitcom called Simmons Family Jewels which is quite good in its own different way.
